Cadillac Ranch

Ten Cadillacs buried nose-first in a Texas wheat field along old Route 66. It's weird, it's wonderful, and it's been here since 1974.

Pro Tip

Bring a can of spray paint from the truck stop. Visitors are encouraged to add their own layer. The cars change color constantly.

MidPoint Cafe

The exact midpoint between Chicago and Los Angeles on Route 66. Famous for their "Ugly Crust" pies.

Don't Skip

Even if you're not hungry, grab a milkshake. The nostalgia alone is worth the 10-minute stop. Great photo spot with the Route 66 signs out front.

Meteor Crater

Nearly one mile wide and 550 feet deep. Created ~50,000 years ago when a nickel-iron meteorite hit at 26,000 mph. One of the best preserved impact sites on Earth.
