Cameron Trading Post¶

Historic Navajo trading post established in 1916, perched at the edge of the Little Colorado River Gorge. One of the most authentic stops on the whole trip.
What to Do
- Try the Navajo fry bread and stew in the dining room
- Browse turquoise jewelry, pottery, and handwoven rugs
- Walk out to the gorge overlook behind the building -- the turquoise water is unreal
Antelope Canyon X¶

A narrow slot canyon carved by flash floods over millions of years. Smooth sandstone walls swirl in shades of orange, red, and purple. Light beams pour through the narrow openings above.

Horseshoe Bend¶

The Colorado River makes a dramatic 270-degree turn around a massive sandstone mesa, 1,000 feet below the overlook. One of the most photographed spots in the American Southwest.
Timing
- Sunset is the move. The walls light up gold and the shadows deepen.
- ~0.6 mile walk each way from parking (15 min)
- Railing at the overlook but stay aware of edges
- $10 parking fee
